The PCEF Fund a Project is a way for our Person County teachers and staff to receive items that are needed to aid them in helping our students have the BEST education possible. It may be used as many times a year as a need arises for a teacher or staff member.

Science Fun for Everyone - $900.00 - Funding for an in school field trip that transforms the classroom into a science lab with fun, hands on, engaging, discovery based learning activities.
Classroom Supplies - $300.00 - Classroom supplies like flexible seating, stools, stamp pads, stamps, and manipulative for creative learning.

African Inspired Clay Masks - $510.00 - Funding will be used to purchase clay for students as they study about African masks. Students will mold their masks and add details through carving and painting.

Fostering a Love of Reading through "First Chapter Fridays" - $255.00 or any amount - Funding will be used to build a classroom library to provide students with high interest, non fiction, and fiction texts.
Performance Tech. - $600.00 - Funding will be used to purchase sturdy head microphones for the school sound system.
Scholastic Arts - $255.00 - Funding will be used to purchase scholastic art magazines that will be utilized to integrate literacy strategies into the art curriculum.
Home Internet Connectivity. - $2,130.00 - Funding will be used to purchase 10 Hotspots for students that have no internet access at home.
Student Supply Closet - $1,010.00 - Funding will be used to purchase items to assist students facing economic insecurity and financial hardship. Items include school supplies, food, personal care products, as well as stress/anxiety relief kits.
Biotechnology Labs - $455.00 - Funding will be used to purchase a microscope with oil immersion that will have the capability to transmit images to the teachers laptop and then can be viewed by students on the classroom television.
Graphing - $90.00 - Funding will be used to purchase graph paper to create 2-D models, post-it sticky pad grids for graphing statistical questions.
Cultural Literacy Class Sets - $940.00 - Funding will be used to purchase 10 copies of text for children who are unable to purchase themselves so that all children are able to have a cultural experience through literature.
Carolina Ocean Studies - $2,600.00 - Hands on educational island exploration of the marsh, tidal creeks, and beach front.
