The Person County Education Foundation (PCEF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1988, is committed to assisting the continued success and support of our Person County college bound students by offering and awarding scholarships. Our mission is to enhance the number and size of these scholarship awards as well as expand eligibility to a broader group of students.
In 2023, with monetary awards totaling over $42,000, we were able to recognize 30 graduating high school seniors. Seven previous winners of renewable scholarships were also awarded a total of $23,000, based on their satisfactory performance, for a grand total PCEF award value this year of over $65,000, the largest in our history!
